SCDO is a proof-of-work chain. Miners bundle transactions into blocks and make the chain's history expensive to rewrite; independent nodes check every block and serve the network. Both keep SCDO open and verifiable.

SCDO Shard0 (EVM) is SCDO's EVM-compatible network: a real Ethash proof-of-work chain (chain ID 5680) running on core-geth, the Ethereum Classic client. Anyone with a GPU can mine it and anyone can run a full node that verifies every block. See Mine SCDO Shard0 (EVM) with a GPU.

The original go-scdo chains (ZPoW, CPU mining, addresses like 1S01…) run as SCDO Shard1 (Classic), SCDO Shard2 (Classic), SCDO Shard3 (Classic) and SCDO Shard4 (Classic): live chains with over 240,000 user accounts, all searchable on the explorer. Mine SCDO Shard0 (EVM) with a GPU用 GPU 挖 SCDO Shard0 (EVM)

Algorithm Ethash (same as pre-merge Ethereum, 30,000-block epochs, not etchash) · chain ID / network ID 5680 · P2P port 30368 · block target ~13 s · epoch-0 DAG ≈1 GB. You mine through your own node, so block rewards go to the address you choose.

  1. Easiest – Windows + NVIDIA GPU (RTX 20/30/40/50 series): download scdo-shard0-gpu-miner-v1.0.3-windows-amd64.zip, unzip to e.g. C:\scdo-miner, add that folder as a Windows Defender exclusion (every GPU miner is flagged as a “potentially unwanted app”), open start-mining.bat in Notepad, set set WALLET=0x… to your address and double-click it. It starts a local core-geth node (rewards to your address) and a small stratum proxy, downloads the NVIDIA miner Rigel 1.23.2 from its official release (SHA256-checked; closed source, 0.7% dev fee) and starts mining once the node has synced. If SmartScreen says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info then Run anyway (the files are not code-signed). To stop, run stop-mining.bat – it shuts the node down gracefully; do not close the “SCDO node” window with X. Linux: scdo-shard0-gpu-miner-v1.0.3-linux-amd64.tar.gz, WALLET=0x… ./start-mining.sh. Since v1.0.3 the package also registers your node for node rewards (distributed by online time) with your WALLET as reward address; set PAYOUT=0x… for another address or PAYOUT=off to opt out.
  2. Manual / other miners: initialise once with ./core-geth-scdo-linux-amd64 --datadir ./scdo0 init scdo-shard0-genesis.json, run the node without --mine:

    then the proxy from the package, which starts getwork mining only after the node has synced:

    and point any Ethash stratum miner at 127.0.0.1:3333, e.g. rigel -a ethash -o ethproxy+tcp://127.0.0.1:3333 -u 0xYOUR_ADDRESS or lolMiner --algo ETHASH --pool 127.0.0.1:3333 --user 0xYOUR_ADDRESS --ethstratum ETHPROXY.
  3. Do not mine before your node has synced: a fresh node would otherwise build its own chain from the genesis block. getwork miners such as ethminer can still use http://127.0.0.1:8545, but ethminer’s last release (2019) predates RTX 40/50 cards.

    再執行安裝包裡的代理（節點同步完成後才開始 getwork 挖礦）：

    然後把任意 Ethash Stratum 挖礦軟體指向 127.0.0.1:3333，例如 rigel -a ethash -o ethproxy+tcp://127.0.0.1:3333 -u 0xYOUR_ADDRESS 或 lolMiner --algo ETHASH --pool 127.0.0.1:3333 --user 0xYOUR_ADDRESS --ethstratum ETHPROXY。
  3. 節點同步完成前不要挖礦，否則新節點會從創世塊開始自建一條鏈。ethminer 等 getwork 挖礦軟體仍可直接連線 http://127.0.0.1:8545，但 ethminer 最後一次釋出是 2019 年，早於 RTX 40/50 系列顯示卡。

Each block pays the miner the standard Ethash block reward (2 SCDO) plus fees. Block rewards are distributed automatically by the chain’s public, verifiable protocol rules; every reward is visible on this explorer.

The SCDO project runs a public mining pool. It is operated by the project (the same company that mines to the reserve address), and everything about it is public: pool page with every miner’s hashrate, shares, block rewards and pool payouts (pending / paid), all blocks and all payout transactions.

Node rewards節點獎勵

Public, synced SCDO Shard0 (EVM) nodes serve the network and receive node rewards in SCDO, distributed automatically by public, verifiable rules based on measured online time. Add --identity scdo-node:0xYOUR_ADDRESS to your node command (the GPU package v1.0.3 and the macOS start.sh do this for you). Rules, node list and the public ledger: /nodes/.

Ethash
The proof-of-work algorithm of SCDO Shard0 (EVM) (the same as pre-merge Ethereum); GPUs mine it using a large dataset called the DAG.SCDO Shard0 (EVM) 使用的工作量證明演算法（與合併前的以太坊相同），顯示卡挖礦時需要一個稱為 DAG 的大資料集。
DAG / 紀元 · Epoch
The ~1 GB dataset Ethash needs in GPU memory; it changes every 30,000 blocks (one epoch).Ethash 需要放入視訊記憶體的約 1 GB 資料集，每 30,000 個區塊（一個紀元）更換一次。
算力 / Hashrate (MH/s)
How many Ethash hashes per second a GPU or pool computes; 1 MH/s = one million hashes per second.顯示卡或礦池每秒計算的 Ethash 雜湊次數；1 MH/s 即每秒一百萬次。
難度 / Difficulty

Gas / 手續費

份額 / Share
A solution your miner sends to the pool that proves work at the pool's (easier) difficulty; shares measure your contribution.礦機按礦池設定的較低難度提交的計算結果，用來證明並計量你貢獻的工作量。
PPLNS

手續費檔位 / Fee tier
The pool fee rate (1%, 3% or 5%) chosen from your 24-hour average hashrate; larger miners pay a lower rate.按你 24 小時平均算力確定的礦池費率（1%、3% 或 5%），算力越大費率越低。
最低支付 / Min payout
The smallest balance that is sent on-chain; smaller amounts wait until they reach it.鏈上付款的最低金額；未達到的餘額會累積到達標後再付。
叔塊 / Uncle
A block found almost at the same time as another one; it is not in the canonical chain but is included by a later block and still receives part of the reward.與他人幾乎同時挖出、未進入規範鏈但被後續區塊收錄的塊，仍有部分獎勵。
孤塊 / Orphan
A found block that did not make it into the chain and was not included as an uncle; it gets no reward.未進入規範鏈、也未被收錄為叔塊的區塊，沒有獎勵。
儲備地址 / Reserve
The company's own address (project-operated mining, also the faucet); pool fees go here and it funds the node reward distribution wallet.公司自己的地址（專案方自挖，也是水龍頭）；礦池費用進入該地址，並由它為節點獎勵發放錢包注資。
節點獎勵 / Node rewards
SCDO distributed automatically to public, synced nodes that serve the network, split by measured online time under the published rules.按公開規則、根據實測線上時長，自動發放給為網路提供服務的公開、已同步節點的 SCDO。
獎勵地址登記 / --identity
Starting a node with --identity scdo-node:0xYOUR_ADDRESS tells the bootnode which public address receives the node rewards.啟動節點時加上 --identity scdo-node:0x你的地址，就是告訴種子節點節點獎勵發放到哪個公開地址。
