1Set up your wallet設定錢包
MetaMask (browser extension)（瀏覽器外掛）
- Install MetaMask from metamask.io and create or import a wallet. Write your Secret Recovery Phrase on paper and keep it offline.
- Click Add SCDO Shard0 (EVM) to MetaMask above and approve the request in MetaMask.
- MetaMask switches to SCDO Shard0 (EVM). Your address (starts with
0x) is the same as on any EVM chain.
- 從 metamask.io 安裝 MetaMask，建立或匯入錢包。請把助記詞抄在紙上並離線保管。
- 點選上方 一鍵新增 SCDO Shard0 (EVM) 到 MetaMask，在 MetaMask 彈窗中確認。

- Open this page inside the MetaMask app browser: open in MetaMask.
- Tap Add SCDO Shard0 (EVM) to MetaMask and approve.
- Or add it by hand: Settings → Networks → Add network → Add a network manually and paste the parameters from section 2.

Trust Wallet
- Open Trust Wallet and go to Settings → Networks (in some versions: the network selector → Add custom network).
- Tap + / Add custom network and enter the parameters from section 2 (RPC URL, chain ID 5680, symbol SCDO, explorer).
- Save, select SCDO, and copy your
0xaddress from the receive screen.

Menu names differ between app versions. Other EVM wallets (Rabby, OKX Wallet, imToken, …) work the same way with the parameters below.

New addresses can claim a small amount of SCDO (currently 0.01 SCDO) to pay transaction fees while trying the network. Limit: one claim per address every 24 hours and one per IP address every hour.

5Mining & running a node挖礦與執行節點
Mining and running nodes are how SCDO is secured: miners produce proof-of-work blocks and independent nodes verify them. Public, synced nodes serve the network and receive node rewards, distributed automatically by public, verifiable rules based on online time.

- SCDO Shard1 (Classic), SCDO Shard2 (Classic), SCDO Shard3 (Classic) and SCDO Shard4 (Classic) are the original SCDO chains built on go-scdo (ZPoW). They are live chains with over 240,000 user accounts; blocks, transactions and balances are shown on this explorer.
- Classic addresses look like
1S01…/2S02…and amounts use 8 decimals. They are not MetaMask/EVM addresses. - Search a Classic address or transaction on the explorer homepage, or pick the shard in the shard tabs.
