These actions need KYC
- Deploying contracts on SCDO Shard0 (EVM).
- Issuing tokens on SCDO Shard0 (EVM).
- Contract source verification (Verify & Publish): the submission must be signed by a KYC-verified address — the deployer, the owner or any other KYC-verified address.
- Enterprise issuance and settlement (SCDO Enterprise): a business passes a KYB review before its wallet is registered.
- Holding or receiving enterprise tokens (vouchers, points, settlement units): only KYC-verified addresses can be issued, hold or receive them, and they can only be transferred between KYC-verified addresses. The token contract checks this on every issue and transfer.
In the SCDO web wallet, sending to another person’s address and paying a payment request also check that the payer’s address is KYC-verified.
These need no KYC
- Browsing the explorer, blocks, transactions, addresses and contracts.
- Holding SCDO, the native coin, in your own wallet.
- Receiving SCDO, the native coin.
This does not cover enterprise tokens: only KYC-verified addresses can hold or receive them (see item 5 above).
Complete KYC only once
After review, 9Y9 PTY LTD records your SCDO Shard0 (EVM) address in the on-chain KYC registry. That one registration covers all of the actions above — there is no separate KYC for each action. A registration that expires or is revoked has to be renewed before these actions work again.
KYC registry (9Y9 PTY LTD): 0x0d245fb56f9e9bdcf05fa93f39d5d29c4cd09335. It stores only a status, a tier, an expiry date and a hash of the KYC record — never personal data.
How to get verified
- Individuals: open the KYC tab in the SCDO web wallet and contact the 9Y9 PTY LTD KYC desk at admin@apeccapital.org. After review, your address is added to the registry.
- Businesses: apply through SCDO Enterprise (KYB review).
